Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Trovaru, the domain and SSL operations platform at trovaru.com (the "Service"), operated by Trovaru ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Trovaru provides a unified dashboard to monitor domain expiry, SSL certificates, and DNS changes across multiple registrars, with alerts, sync, and reporting. Features and integrations may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor domains or accounts you are not authorised to manage.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Abuse connected registrar APIs or exceed their rate limits through the Service.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

4. Registrar credentials

When you connect registrar API keys, you confirm you are entitled to use them. You remain responsible for those credentials and for any action taken at your registrar. Trovaru reads the data you ask it to monitor and does not modify your registrar records unless you explicitly use a feature that does so.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Paddle, who acts as merchant of record. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges for your chosen plan until you cancel. Plan limits and prices are shown on our pricing page.

• Renewal — subscriptions renew automatically each billing period.
• Cancellation — you may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current period.
• Refunds — except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Downgrades — if you exceed a lower plan's limits, affected teams or workspaces become read-only until you are within the limit.

6. Monitoring is best-effort

Trovaru's alerts and sync depend on third-party registrars, DNS, and email providers. While we work to deliver timely, accurate notifications, the Service is provided on a best-effort basis. You remain responsible for renewing your domains and certificates. Trovaru is a safety net, not a guarantee against expiry, lapse, or downtime.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every alert will be delivered.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trovaru will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from an expired domain, lapsed certificate, or missed alert. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to our infrastructure.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and where appropriate announced by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
